Un grand merci!

Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous dans votre appartement . Nous avons apprécié votre discrétion et votre accueil.

À une autre occasion de se revoir!

All of it was perfection!

“My parents and I stayed two nights at this glorious apartment. It was the best place I've ever stayed in Italy. Beautiful grounds, beautiful apartment and such an amazing price. Don't let the fact that it is out of the centro deter you, it's nice to escape to this serene haven after a day of sightseeing in the busy Verona. Ginevra is an incredible host. Very welcoming and lovely. I still can't believe how lucky we were to find it. I'll be back again for sure! Thank you so much Ginevra.”

Thanks for a little renaissance experience! No Rating

When we arrived we were so tired after a long trip and it was so nice to meet Ginevra. We were so happy to live and rest in such amazing and charming place that we didn't even visit Verona! Thank you Ginevra for the hospitality ant for offering us to live a little renaissance experience!

We loved staying in the beautiful Villa Verità!

We loved staying here in the beautiful Villa Verità, where comfort and hospitality cannot have been improved upon.

Ginevra's advice and the trip to her brother's vinyard was making enjoyable days here.

Mantua and Padua offered great excursions to see the Mantegna in the Sposi room and the Giotto at the Cappella degli Scrovegni. But we true enjoyed just walking around Verona the best. A lovely beautiful city, away from Juliet's balcony anyway.

So much more to explore that we will have to return

Querida Ginevra!

A delightfully quiet location

We have had a wonderful week here and wished we could stay longer. What a wonderful place to stay/live - close to Verona yet in a delightfully quiet location with church bells providing a rural backdrop.
What a pity that are no donkeys braying nor chicken providing a rural background noise.....!

We visited Verona, Vicenza, Mantova, lake Garda and of course sampled/bought wines of Serego Alighieri - plus we're taking some home to Australia where we will have very pleasant memories of our stay in Villa Verità

Grazie mille! Vielen Dank! Muchas Gracias!

Es un lugar espléndido en donde hemos podido vivir muy intensamente una parte de la rica cultura italiana. estamos gratamente impresionados y deseamos pronto regreser!

What a perfect setting

Villa Verità is like a stay in an Italian Palace, the whole setting of balconies, cypres trees, courtyards and huge gardens. We had a great time in your beautiful house, thank you!

A perfect location for relaxation and cultural exploration

This apartment is in idyllic settings, down a private driveway in a quiet village just outside Verona, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Bus routes pass along the road so very easy to access Verona, but for those more comfortable with walking, a long walk next to the river is very pleasant. The apartment itself is very comfortable and easy to relax in. Beware the bed is extremely comfortable, so there is potential to waste the holiday by not leaving the bed. The villa has a huge quadrangle style green outside which is lovely for catching some sun outside. Generally, this is a perfect location for relaxation and some cultural exploration. I would certainly return. It is beautiful and the apartment is beautiful and cool. I would suggest a great place for a couple - not so much to keep little ones entertained though.

We loved it a lot

It was a wonderful and much too short time here. Thank you for your nice welcome!

Many thanks for you!

Thank you for opening up this beautiful and unique Villa Verità to us for our much too short visit. We needed to stay a few more days at least to visit alle we wanted, expecially this area and its wineries and to simply enjoy the studio. We expecially enjoyed your hospitality our first night here! We had fairly industrious day trips to both Venice and the Dolomites. It was so nice to come back to such comfort in the evenings (and wine from your family winery)

A perfect place

It has been the perfect place for a cultural but also relaxing voyage to the Valpolicella, Verona and the Garda lake. We have felt very comfortable and welcome. The description and the pictures of the location were absolutely correct, it is as lovely as you can see in the photographs. We even found much more equipment in the appartment than expected, tools for cooking, tea and coffee, but especially a lot of tourist information for all the region, booklets, maps, adresses of trattorias etc., which were very helpful. The appartment was clean and well ordered. In contrast to common (modern) appartments to rent, this appartment have a special atmosphere, a mixture of history and peaceful countrylife, which made it so nice to live there. We also enjoyed the cooking in the kitchen. The Rosseto-Supermarket is only 5 minutes away. (we preferd to go by car because of the traffic). We also had a wonderful evening sitting outside under the trees in the garden, with some candles and a bottle of wine. The owner is very kind and helpful, she would always be there, if we had any problem or question. And she had more fresh towels than we could ever use... By the way, the washing machine in the appartment is a great thing. It was also good to have the car in a place (court) which was not accessible for others. The position of the villa is perfect for whatever direction to go: We enjoyed the near distance to Verona (max. 15 min by car), also to the hills and mountains of the Valpolicella (we recommend the water falls of Molina for a hot summer day) and to the Garda lake. The region offers a lot of restaurants or trattorias which seem to be frequented by natives, not only by tourists. The Trattoria behind the house (no direct entrance from the villa, it is not easy to find it) "Sottocastel" is worth visiting, we had one of our best meals there. We also liked the trattoria "Stella" some hundert meters down the main street, which has a nice garden, which you can't see from the main street. The Sporting club next to the villa was nice for a day on the pool. Not cheap, but very clean, luxourious and comfortable, and we were almost alone in the park and the big pool (not forget your swimming cap- but you can borrow some). The Bus stop is directly in front of the villa, but we have not tried going by bus. However, we have seen a lot of busses on this route to Verona and back.

Our base to explore Valpolicella

We chose Ginevra's Villa Verita as our base to explore the Valpolicella region having read the very positive comments expressed by others here, and we concur with everything that has been said. We flew into Venice, stayed one night there and picked up a hire car. It's an easy 90 minute drive to Villa Verita and although buses do pass the door, a car is essential to make the most of the surroundings. A few trips to Lake Garda, walks in the hills, a day in Verona and the grape harvest in full flow. Delightful. The apartment was everything we required - restful and comfortable with great character, and as has been said many times, you couldn't wish for a warmer and more welcoming host than Ginevra. Evenings spent sipping an excellent Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso under the tree - now there's a memory that will take a long time to fade!!We chose Ginevra's Villa Verita as our base to explore the Valpolicella region having read the very positive comments expressed by others here, and we concur with everything that has been said. Ein herzlicher Ort fuer Spaziegaenge mit unserem Sohn (1 Jahr) , zum Aussehen und Abschatten sowie fuer Ausfluege nach Verona, Valpolicella oder nach Venedig.
